Hangin’ Out With … Rock Stewart

By Phil ShoreJune 25, 2020

Former Williams standout Rock Stewart was drafted in the fifth round by the MLL's New York Lizards. (Williams College Athletics)

Four Division 3 players were selected in the 2020 MLL Collegiate Draft, including two from Williams College: Brendan Hoffman (fourth round) and Rock Stewart (fifth round).

Stewart was a two-time All-NESCAC player (including a first-team selection in 2019, when he set the Williams single-season record for caused turnovers) and a Maverik Media All-American (first team) in 2020, when he helped the Ephs jump out to a 4-0 start.

He also won the Aaron PInsky '06 Student Broadcasting Award at Williams for his stellar work on men’s and women’s hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, and football webcasts as a color commentator.
