After four years at Sacred Heart, where he accumulated 56 goals and 15 assists, Drew Edwards left the coaches and teammates (including his brother) he loved and has come home to Rhode Island to play for the school he grew up rooting for.
The South Kingstown, R.I., native and La Salle Academy graduate is excited to not just compete in the Big East and come home, but also connect with his large extended family and play with his golden retriever puppy.
The Friars went 4-9 last season, losing to Denver in the Big East semifinals.
