Although Grace Nolan is from Marcellus, N.Y., — just outside of Syracuse — she has dominated Big East lacrosse fields not for the Orange but for UConn since she arrived on campus.
The 2015 Big East Rookie of the Year, and an All-Big East first-team selection as a sophomore and junior, has big aspirations for herself and her team in her final college season.
As a junior, Nolan led the team in goals (44) and assists (33), while leading the conference in points (77), points per game (4.89), goals per game (2.78) and assists per game (2.11). She also finished second in the program’s record books for points in a season and assists in a season.
With one season remaining, Nolan will climb the program record books, with first place in multiple categories within striking distance. She is 55 goals away from tying the top spot, while she also is 34 assists and 62 points from tying the program records in those categories.
