The 2018 season was a record-setting one for Chris Gray.

The Wading River, N.Y., native made an immediate impact as a freshman, setting the Boston University program record for assists (40) and points (71) in a season, while finishing third in goals in a season (31).

He earned Patriot League Rookie of the Year and ECAC Rookie of the Year honors, as well as being named both USILA and Inside Lacrosse All-America honorable mention, just the third Terrier to receive that recognition.

Ahead of his sophomore year, New England Lacrosse Journal caught up with the attackman to talk lacrosse beginning, his time at BU and much more.
