Weather permitting, the first Independent School League games in two years will be played this afternoon.
After last year’s lost spring, 16 boys teams are preparing to compete in what will be a different type of ISL season. Games will be played on Fridays and Saturdays to facilitate COVID testing, as opposed to the traditional Wednesdays and Saturdays.
There will be no postseason tournament, a format that was proposed for the first time in 2020, and no champion will be crowned. The schedule is currently planned for only three weekends out.
