On this week’s episode of New England Lacrosse Journal’s “Chasing The Goal” podcast, hosts Kyle Devitte and Jack Piatelli were joined by Westwood (Mass.) High School head coach Todd Zahurak.
Zahurak is an upstate New York transplant. A former midfielder for Oswego State, he has been coaching in Massachusetts for over a decade.
His team has remained in Division 2 after the reshuffling of MIAA schools in the offseason. He shares his thoughts about scheduling, and about how offense and defense should be played in lacrosse.
(Hint: He’s not a fan of zone defense.)
