On this week’s episode of New England Lacrosse Journal’s “Chasing The Goal” podcast, hosts Kyle Devitte and Jack Piatelli talk with the HEADstrong Foundation’s Ken Clausen.
Ken Clausen is a 2010 graduate from Virginia and is one of just two players to be named a three-time first-team All-American at UVA, along with Connor Shellenberger last season. In his senior year at Virginia in 2010, he was the only defenseman among the 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy finalists.
He ended up being a first-round draft pick in the 2010 MLL Draft by the Denver Outlaws and played for the Outlaws for several seasons, winning the MLL title in 2014.
Clausen went on to work for Warrior Lacrosse for 10 years in several roles before joining HEADstrong full-time in March of 2023. He currently serves as the organization’s National Director of Attack Cancer.
