On this week’s episode of New England Lacrosse Journal’s “Chasing The Goal” podcast, hosts Kyle Devitte and Jack Piatelli were joined by Dan Sheehan.
Sheehan is currently in his 26th season as the head coach of the men’s lacrosse team at Le Moyne College. He is, statistically, one of the best lacrosse coaches in the country, with a 349-58 (.857) overall record through the 2022 season, including six victories in NCAA championship games.
His 349 career victories rank as the 13th-most in NCAA lacrosse history. So far this season, the No. 1-ranked Dolphins are off to a hot start and are one of Division 2’s few unbeaten teams at 7-0.
Sheehan’s squad only has to worry about the Northeast-10 from here on out, with games against St. Michael’s, Assumption and Bentley in the coming weeks.
