Assistants are the unsung heroes of the coaching world and come from all kinds of backgrounds. The one thing they all share is mutual love and respect for the game.
Some are lucky enough to make that love and respect into a career. This is the story of one such individual: Providence offensive coordinator Kevin Gould (Duxbury, Mass.), who joined the staff in 2019.
The Friars are struggling through a 4-8 season but will get a chance to play giant-killer when they host top-seeded Denver in the Big East semifinals next week.
