Heading into the final days of September, nearly 50 high school and prep school juniors from the region have made their verbal college commitments or entered the admissions process.
For most of those lacrosse players, making those commitments is the culmination of years of hard work, which combined with their talents made them attractive to some of the top programs in Division 1, like North Carolina, Notre Dame, Duke and Virginia, among others.
But what of the other juniors, the ones whose recruiting processes have also been dragged down this twisting, unexpected COVID-19 path? What important tool do they need to develop?
