Al Eaton has only been coaching lacrosse for 10 years, but it’s grown on him.
A longtime soccer coach, it was during his four-year stint as the head girls lacrosse coach at Swampscott (Mass.) High School that he realized he wanted, someday, to be a college head coach.
That day arrived this week, when Lasell College, one of the top programs in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, announced him as its new women’s lacrosse coach, replacing Cait Connolly, who stepped down after a 10-year tenure.
