One of the most explosive teams in New England exists just over the border in New Hampshire. Bishop Guertin is a state powerhouse with college commits up and down its roster.
However, this year’s team has encountered a phenomenon that every other team in the region has experienced -- a much more limited and pandemic-influenced schedule.
For a team that has traditionally tested itself by playing teams across state lines like Duxbury (Mass.), New Canaan (Conn.) and Lincoln-Sudbury (Mass.), it’s been a different kind of preparation. Even though the Cardinals did get to play Cape Elizabeth -- a top program in Maine -- the rest of their 2021 docket is limited to their own state.
