It’s hard to believe that the Division 1 college lacrosse season has been over for nearly two weeks. Then again, it’s hard to believe that the season went off without much of a hitch -- excluding the Ivy League’s decision not to participate -- in the first place.
After a year away from the game due to the COVID-19 pandemic, college lacrosse came roaring back and delivered on its promise.
Whether it was a thrilling opening-round game between Bryant and Virginia in the NCAA men’s tournament, BC’s women breaking through to win the title or a championship-winning save made by Alex Rode, there were so many great moments to reflect upon, both for the region and the game on a national stage.
