The list of those eligible for the Tewaaraton Award has been whittled down to 25 players each from men's and women's college lacrosse.
Last year's awards both returned to New England – Yale attackman Ben Reeves and Boston College attacker Sam Apuzzo did the honors – though it'll be hard for that blanket history to repeat itself.
The numbers, however, are favorable on the men's side, as six players have ties to the region. On the women's side, four players have ties to the region, and each suits up for Boston College.
