Several of the region’s toughest club teams threw down at the Fall Classic Tournament -- formerly the Mayflower Classic -- in Taunton, Mass.
On the shoulders of the Fall Classic Showcase, the tournament was a completely different event.
While the point for the players is still the same -- be seen by college coaches and get recruited -- the formula differed.
Club teams, just like the players that populate them, are very different entities. Different coaches, play styles and ethos are just some of the things that separate them, besides the talent that they draw.
