After taking the nation by storm and making the NCAA tournament in 2021 and '22, Vermont looked poised to become a regional power in New England.
However, back-to-back seasons without raising the America East trophy have caused alarm in the Green Mountain State.
Last year, the Catamounts finished with an 8-8 overall record that included some eyebrow-raising losses to teams like Utah, Dartmouth and Binghamton. However, they did finish with a 5-2 record in conference play and lost to Albany by one goal in the America East championship game.
So, not everything is as it seems at UVM.
