Drew Kelleher is entering his third full year as the head coach of the UMass Lowell men’s lacrosse team.
The team hasn’t won a game in the past two seasons, but in his mind, there's been work done to reshape and reinvent the program with a lot of new faces.
When Kelleher talks about what transpired this fall, there’s an excitement in his voice.
“(I was) lucky to be a major part of building something special at Manhattan College, and taking the worst team in Division 1 and going to the NCAA Tournament,” he said. “When I got here, there were a lot of the same … lifestyle choices and behavior choices.
