It was a painful injury, both physically and emotionally.
And a blessing in disguise? Maybe that, too.
Attack Faith Graves figured to be on a Division 1 college campus by now, preparing for a freshman lacrosse season after turning heads at Wellesley (Mass.) High School and with Revolution Lacrosse.
That path turned sharply during a tournament at the U.S. Naval Academy during her sophomore year, when she suffered a torn ACL, a partially torn MCL and a bone contusion.
