Evan Zinn, Brian Minicus, others draw interest in transfer portal

The summer is a busy time for recruiting in lacrosse.

Along with players looking to catch the eye of college coaches and passing academic reads, July traditionally brings an end to any calmness, but even the end of the dead period is now completely annihilated and eclipsed by the high activity nature of the NCAA transfer portal.

It’s hard to be hated and loved at the same time, but the portal does a great job of being both as it’s a place to acquire and lose talent for your squad at the same time.

Here are some of the more notable players from the region who have changed teams or are looking to change teams.
