Since 2000, Endicott has been one of the steadiest Division 3 programs in New England.
Across that span, the Gulls have captured nine conference championships and made 10 NCAA tournaments, cementing their place atop the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
But head coach Eric Hagarty is the first to admit 2018 was a letdown. Endicott went 7-11, its worst record since 1996, and failed to win a non-conference game. Those events have caused some reflection as the spring nears.
"What we knew going into 2018 is we weren't going to drop our schedule just because we didn't have those guys anymore," Hagarty told New England Lacrosse Journal.
