As lacrosse continues to find its footing in Maine, Thornton Academy midfielder C.J. LaBreck stands as one of the brightest beacons of ambassadorship for Vactionland.
Coming off of an All-American campaign, the senior is more than willing to do what it takes to help grow the game in his home state – both now and down the road.
“I feel like lacrosse in Maine is going to be huge,” said LaBreck, who is committed to play at Division 1 program Monmouth following graduation. “You have all these schools that are picking up lacrosse now that are going to compete. Ever since people started playing, lacrosse is just getting bigger. In fourth grade it was OK, but now that people are starting to see how the game is played and how aggressive it is and how much fun it can be.”
