Nearly 100 boys from the region have been selected to represent New England and Connecticut at the Under Armour All-American Underclass Tournament later this month.
Players tried out and were selected for two New England teams and two Conny (Connecticut/New York) teams, with rosters of 23 players each.
The Conny teams will play in a Super Regional in Chester, Pa., on Aug. 27-28, along with teams from New Jersey and Philadelphia. The New England teams will compete in a Super Regional with Long Island and Upstate New York at a site and date to be determined.
