Outlook: Much like UMass Lowell when it debuted in America East in 2015 (and went 0-17 overall), the 21-player roster for Hartford is comprised almost entirely of freshmen, with just two seniors and one junior. … Wehner was named a high school All-American in Ohio, and Miller graduated from Ballston Spa (N.Y.) High School as that program’s all-time leading scorer. … Decker was hired in August 2016 to build the program from scratch after playing at Navy and assisting at Virginia Commonwealth. "This is a year of firsts,” she said. “Anytime you do something for the first time, (it) presents challenges and opportunities. Each game of this season presents an opportunity.". … The Hawks will play a 13-game schedule. The first game is Feb. 24 against Delaware State as part of a men’s/women’s doubleheader.
