The Division 1 women’s college lacrosse season is starting, and Boston College plans to begin with a busy schedule. The national runner-ups have a quick start to their 2020 season with two games in the next five days, including Saturday’s season-opening tilt against UMass that is the pick of the weekend in New England. The women’s college lacrosse season starts off with a stellar non-league matchup. UMass was just selected second in the preseason Atlantic-10 poll, with midfielder Stephanie Croke (Norwell, Mass.) and attack Kaitlyn Cerasi making the league’s preseason All-Conference Team.
