The quarterfinal round is officially set in Division 3 men's lacrosse, and three teams from New England are still in contention.
However, the defending national champions have been bounced from the national tournament, with Wesleyan falling to Amherst this past Saturday. That guarantees that for the first time since 2013 (Stevenson), a repeat isn't in the cards.
With a regional outlook, here's what lies ahead in the NCAA tournament. There's a darn good chance players and/or teams from New England will arrive at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa., come the May 26 final.
