The Division 2 season continues this weekend, and the only local team in action is Merrimack. The Warriors are coming off of a national title game appearance where they fell to Limestone, but expectations are high heading into this season.
The Warriors, ranked No. 1 in the nation by the USILA, open up against No. 8 NYIT (1-0). The Bears defeated Mercyhurst, 16-9, earlier in the week, and are led by five-goal-getter Andrew Zito and Leroy Halftown, who scored four times last week.
