Across New England, the Division 1 women's goalie field is bound to hold a different complexion in 2019.

Several program leaders – Samantha Santeramo at Bryant, Kyle Larkin at Quinnipiac, Courtney Barrett (South Burlington, Vt.) at UMass Lowell and Christine Laible at Boston University - have since graduated, leaving gaps for new household names to fill. Another standout, Paulina DiFatta, has transferred to Elon from Fairfield after placing on the MAAC All-Rookie Team.

Despite those comings and goings, several standouts and established players remain in the region. From that, New England Lacrosse Journal has highlighted five returning goalies to watch for this coming spring season.

Games begin in early February, so time to brush up on who could be turning heads.
