D1 Report: Week 2 – Austin Collard making a name in Manhattan

Less than a year ago, Austin Collard was starting to make a name for himself. With a surprising start for the Wakefield program, he was one of the state's strongest players on a state title contender.

Not all the lacrosse pundits in the state were aware of Collard's abiltites quite yet. A self-described late bloomer, he was recruited late and ended up at Manhattan. In his first two games in college, Collard is not only getting a chance to play big time minutes, but he's already scored twice.
