A crazy start to the season took one wild turn on Saturday when UMass took out a Yale team ranked No. 1 in the nation and entrenched atop the New England Division 1 men’s poll in recent years.

The Minutemen look to surge back up the rankings with the upset after a 1-2 start, while Providence gets a bump with an overtime victory against Brown in the Ocean State Cup clash. Holy Cross pushes forward with a victory against Harvard.

Boston University is slowly turning around a tough start, while Bryant and Dartmouth have impressed early on this spring.

The Players of the Week have an Amherst feel, along with a honor going to a Dartmouth team off to its best start in 14 years.
