Even with temperatures still below freezing, the 2019 college lacrosse season returns this weekend.
Before then, New England Lacrosse Journal's preseason coaches poll is here. It's no surprise to see Yale, fresh off its first NCAA tournament crown, leading the way. There are some surprises further down the top 10, though, as teams ready to shake off the fall-ball cobwebs.
This poll features feedback from New England's head and assistant coaches, voting anonymously and solely for teams within the region. Once votes were in, point totals were added up for each school, then sorted from highest to lowest to determine the order.
