When the college lacrosse season gets underway in early February, who will be some of the top defensemen throughout the region?
It's a simple question that we pondered as our review of New England's Division 1 men's landscape continues. We've already broken down the attackmen and goalies, so next up are defensemen.
The overall field likely won't rival the 2016 group, when four from New England – Michael Quinn and Chris Keating (Windham, N.H.) at Yale, Alec Tulett at Brown and Robert Duvnjak at Harvard – took home various All-American honors. Nonetheless, standouts remain.
