The NCAA playoffs came and, for several unfortunate teams, went quickly in a busy weekend of action in Division 3.
One team managed to survive and advance from the New England area and it’s most certainly the one that you think it is. One flock of Gulls was grounded before it could even take the field and two other conference champions from the region were overmatched.
So the tournament is down to eight teams, two of which will meet for the national championship in East Hartford, Conn., on May 30.
