D-2/D-3: Billerica shocks, Reading is poised, D-S is close

Every sectional tournament in the MIAA boys lacrosse playoffs has completed at least one round of competition, with many regions advancing past the quarterfinals earlier this week.

And there have been some surprises.

While many favorites still remain in the fight, there are several other teams looking to make their mark on the long march to a state title. Some of those teams hold spots in the latest New England Lacrosse Journal statewide rankings.

Here are how the brackets have shaken out in Division 2 and Division 3.
