The Division 1 women’s lacrosse season has passed its midpoint and fortunes are coming into clearer view.
On the national scene, the No. 1 ranking has been handled like a grenade. Reigning champion Northwestern, Boston College and Maryland have all spent time atop the poll and then absorbed losses.
