In the down time before the UMass men’s lacrosse team began its preseason, head coach Greg Cannella joined a Zoom session one of his players, Jeff Trainor (Billerica, Mass.), was taking part in as part of his class.
Trainor, a graduate student, earned his undergraduate degree in building construction technology and is now in the sustainable building and construction program.
“That’s the Billerica rubbing off on me,” Trainor said, about his interest in the field. “I’m excited to get into that industry.”
