At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, St. John’s Prep (Mass.) junior Connor Kelly is hard to miss on a lacrosse field.
Unless you're trying to get past him.
“The first thing I was going to say was he’s really big; he’s really tall. He’s 6-foot-3 and super-rangy,” said St. John’s Prep coach John Pynchon. “Just tremendous potential we are seeing.”
The defender from Marblehead, Mass., is only 16 years old, but that potential and size have already landed Kelly a spot on a college roster — at the University of Richmond, the program he verbally committed to late last month.
