It's been a whirlwind season for Darien (Conn.) High School.
The Blue Wave have absorbed four losses, which is partly attributable to the tough out-of-state competition they've faced.
But they're riding a four-game win streak, one that includes last week's come-from-behind, 9-8 win over Wilton. It's a young team with several freshmen contributing, and they seem to be growing into their roles.
