Fairfield Prep (Conn.) is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the CIAC.
The team lost its opener to Darien in a monsoon, where it trailed 6-2 but came back to fall, 9-8. Since then, it’s four straight wins.
Darien is moving in a different direction, dropping three of its last four games, albeit against elite competition.
