Fallon Vaughn remembers being a high school freshman at the Women’s National Tournament in Bel Air, Md., part of a loaded Mass./Rhode Island team that featured Elle and Jane Hansen (Cohasset, Mass.), Notre Dame Academy star Madison Ahern (Cohasset, Mass.) and her own older sister, Payton.
“I was just so happy to be on the team watching them,” said Fallon.
Flash forward two years to last spring. The younger Vaughn sister didn’t just star for Mass./Rhode Island at the tournament, she led it to the top-tier championship and received the Heather Leigh Albert Award as the most outstanding player.
