The overall record of Division 1 teams in the region heading into the second week of April is 61-75.
Of the 15 programs in New England, only five have a winning record. Seven of those teams have a losing record. And two of those teams have not won a single game.
It’s not going all that great for the region’s D-1 teams. Several factors are at play, up to and including coaching and cultural changes across the board for a number of programs. However, the drop-off from last year is so significant already that it merits discussion.
