College Notebook: St. A’s soars, Holy Cross teams grounded

By itself, the 7-0 record the Saint Anselm College men bring into their final home game of the regular season isn’t terribly surprising.

This is a veteran team, with seniors across the field eager to replicate the success they enjoyed as freshmen, when they reached the Northeast-10 championship game.

A regional divisional alignment has kept (and will keep) the league’s iron -- Le Moyne, Adelphi and Pace -- off their schedule until at least the conference tournament.
