The Colonial Athletic Association on Tuesday morning announced its revised conference championship schedule for the 2020-21 spring season, as well as new scheduling formats for regular-season competition.
With the movement of fall sports to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic that did not allow for safe playing conditions a few months ago, the CAA is planning to conduct 21 championships over an 11-week period starting in early March and concluding in late May.
The CAA’s six-team men’s lacrosse league includes UMass and Fairfield. The regular-season conference schedule will feature eight games for each team: a round-robin plus three additional games.
