Cohasset cruises to fifth title

By Marisa IngemiJune 23, 2018

It was in the cards for Cohasset.

In a rematch of the last time these teams faced each other in the Division 3 title game in 2014, Cohasset controlled early and never trailed, defeating Dover-Sherborn 10-6 from Nickerson Field at Boston University.

“[The senior class] came in freshman year knowing what we wanted to get done," Cohasset attack Will Thomas said. "The first three years we came up short, but here in my last game of high school lacrosse, we got it done. It’s a crazy feeling.”

Gray Thomas scored three goals and goalie Mason Fitzgerald made 15 saves to grant the Skippers their fifth state title.
