Coaching carousel: D-1 jobs fill fast, and a NESCAC surprise

Well, it did not take long for most of the vacancies in the New England college lacrosse coaching market to be filled.

At the conclusion of the 2022 season, three Division 1 schools had head coaching openings and now those three D-1 schools have new head coaches.

It was swift, but in the world of college lacrosse -- particularly in D-1 -- head coaching jobs are the most coveted and searched-for positions in the industry.

They provide security as well as opportunity due to their high salaries and (usually) longer tenures than other levels.
