Four years after her own college playing career wrapped up at Gordon (Mass.), Becky Smith has a program to call her own.
Smith was announced on Thursday as the new head coach of the women’s team at Heidelberg (Ohio) University, a Division 3 program that competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Smith also has two years experience as an assistant coach at Ashland (Ohio) University, and was the head coach from 2016-18 at Manchester Essex (Mass.) Regional High School, where she was twice named the Cape Ann League Coach of the Year.
