FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Four CIAC boys lacrosse state champions were crowned Sunday at Sacred Heart University.
In Class LL, Fairfield Prep cemented its status as the division's top team with a 9-7 win over Darien. Cheshire continued its reign, but got everything it could handle from St. Joseph's in the Class L final.
Class M and S both went just about to script, though the Class S final between New Fairfield and Somers produced something not done in 50 years.
