ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Bryce Wasserman and the Boston Cannons are the Major League Lacrosse champions.
In this abbreviated and non-traditional weeklong season, one that saw two semifinal teams remove themselves from competition after the league reported a positive COVID-19 test on Friday night, the Cannons left Annapolis with the MLL trophy after earning a 13-10 victory over the Denver Outlaws in the final at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Sunday.
Wasserman, who finished the week with 15 goals, six assists and 10 groundballs, was named MVP. He scored a goal and had an assist coming in the championship.
