Chad Palumbo has been playing lacrosse long enough to recognize how it can be a game of momentum.
A great defensive play can produce a score at the other end. Faceoff wins can lead to consecutive possessions. Goals can pile up.
In a sense, that’s not unlike what the summer and early fall were for Palumbo, a junior attack at Noble and Greenough, who on Monday announced his commitment to Princeton after a stellar last few weeks on the showcase circuit.
“Lacrosse is a game of runs,” he said, “and I kind of went on a run. I got hot and I stayed hot.”
