The season is here for every Division 1 lacrosse team. Some of them have a lot more questions swirling about them than others, but very few teams have as much hype around them as this year’s Boston University squad.
The hype is deserved. Somehow, the Terriers had their best season ever in 2022 and were lauded mostly just by their fans. This team didn’t even exist a decade ago and it won one of the most competitive conferences in D-1.
In advance of their season opener on Feb. 11 at Vermont, let’s examine the potential for this team to be great once again in 2023.
