Earlier this year we took a closer look at the recruiting numbers for Division 1 lacrosse athletes across New England. As expected, Massachusetts and Connecticut were the two traditional producers of D-1 players in the region.
With the all-important Sept. 1 date looming — the first day of contact for recruits in the Class of ’24 — let’s check back with the Class of ’23.
After all, more commitments means more data to mine. For the sake of clarity, we are looking at the player’s hometown as his primary allegiance.
One change for this post from the previous three is that we are looking at all divisions of lacrosse for a more diverse pool of data.
